It's the big day! France welcomes the world today for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Highlights of the evening

19 h 30 : start of the opening ceremony, from the Pont d’Austerlitz 20 h : start of the parade of athletes on boats. Each boat will parade for 42 minutes 21 h 47 : arrival of the French delegation at the Trocadéro From 10pm 30 : lighting of the Olympic cauldron 7:36 p.m.

Umbrella to be provided for the spectators, adjustments for the artists: rain should finally be there on Friday for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, according to the latest weather forecasts which however rule out a “disaster scenario”.
