Léo Bergère won the bronze medal in the men's triathlon on Wednesday at the Paris Olympics, behind the two favorites, the Briton Alex Yee and the New Zealander Hayden Wilde, already on the podium in Tokyo.

A few hours after Cassandre Beaugrand's gold in the women's event, Bergère, the 2022 world champion, brought France its 20th medal since the start of the Games.

Montpellier's Pierre Le Corre took fourth place at the end of this triathlon which had been postponed by 24 hours due to the poor quality of the water in the Seine watch.
