An uncertain Grand Prix
On Friday, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was beaten by Mercedes and McLaren on Friday in front of his home crowd during free practice for the F1 Dutch Grand Prix.
Even if Friday's results should be put into perspective, as every weekend, the reigning triple world champion and current leader of the standings will have a lot to do to extend his unbeaten run on the coastal circuit of Zandvoort.
With three pole positions and three victories since the return to the calendar in 2021 of the circuit famous for its “banking”, banked corners, Verstappen is the man to beat on the North Sea shore but the forces present seem to be the same as in July.
