Clermont: new training courses and a building inaugurated at the Hérault Chamber of Trades

On Tuesday evening, several apprenticeship training courses and a new building were inaugurated at the Hérault Chamber of Trades and Crafts.

A back-to-school feeling is already hanging over the Clermont branch of the Chamber of Trades 34. There, near the Clermont train station car park, new apprenticeship training courses and a training centre dedicated to the construction sector were inaugurated on Tuesday evening, in line with the openings announced a few months ago. President of the Hérault branch, Christian Pujol remains faithful to his convictions: “allow young people who cannot travel to a big city to benefit from training and to be able to work in the area. And this center will continue to evolve next year…” Gérard Bessière, Mayor of the City, emphasized the virtues of training on local economic dynamism “when it comes to developing the area, most often, it is through training young people that we achieve this. It is an absolutely essential act.” The Hérault manager of Capeb also recalled the virtues of the short circuit, including in construction. “We must continue to train young people. For too long, manual trades have been undervalued, yet they are very important”, concluded enthusiastically Myriam Gayraud, regional councillor who financially supports the project.
