A 14-year-old girl dies of serious cancer: her parents decided to treat her with honey and cloves

When the 14-year-old girl was admitted to an Austrian hospital in February 2023, doctors diagnosed her with extremely serious cancer. Metastases have formed throughout his body.

She lost a lot of weight in a short time. She suffered from swallowing problems and breathing difficulties. Tumors and signs of paralysis were also detected.

A few days after her admission to the hospital, she died at only 14 years old. His parents must now answer for their actions before the Austrian regional court in Klagenfurt, reveals Blick. They risk up to three years in prison.

Cinnamon and cloves

The Federal Ministry of Justice accuses the parents of having inflicted "physical suffering" on their daughter , of having left her "defenseless due to her infirmity and illness" and of not ;rsquo;have "adequately informed about their illness, its progress and treatment possibilities".

Several months before, a tumor had been discovered in his foot, which was not treated by conventional medicine.

Instead of resorting to chemotherapy or radiotherapy, the parents decided to administer a mixture of honey, ginger, cinnamon and cloves.

For them, they are not guilty. The young girl apparently decided on her own not to undergo treatment. The lawyer emphasized that she was "capable of making decisions from a legal point of view at the time" and that she was "very assertive and confident".< /p>

According to him, not resorting to chemotherapy and radiotherapy was therefore a "carefully considered and personal decision" .
