Projects for openings and closures in Gard proposed before the next CDEN at the end of February

Les projets d'ouvertures et de fermetures dans les écoles publiques soumis au vote du CDEN fin février. Midi Libre – JEAN MICHEL MART

The Departmental Council of National Education could not be held this Friday, February 9 in Nîmes, due to lack of a quorum. The day before, a meeting allowed us to learn about the projects of Dasen du Gard which will come back to the table at the next meeting at the end of February.

This Friday, February 9, the CDEN (Departmental Council of National Education) was unable to meet in Nîmes due to a lack of quorum. Indeed, staff representatives and parents of students boycotted to protest against the lack of communication from Dasen du Gard. The unions then contest the validity of the previous day's session of the Social Administration Committee: "The unfavorable vote of all the representatives was not respected."

Christophe Mauny, Dasen du Gard, rightly mentions Thursday's CSA-SD: "There was no break in dialogue with four meeting times. We need to find common ground on the method. (…) There was a technical error in the transmission of documents." A new meeting of the CDEN will soon be scheduled for the week of the start of the school year, end of February. Dasen, who does not wish to discuss the school map, is confident about the outcome of the next council.

Duplicates to finalize

This Thursday, at the CSA-SD, he transmitted in session his project of openings, numbering 46, and closures, 52 in total, in public schools in Gard.
