On the night of June 5 to 6, three agents from the Gard Departmental Federation of Hunters surprised, in flagrante delicto, a poacher who was hunting at night, in the Remoulins plain area. Officers had set up surveillance in the area and heard a gunshot. At 11:10 p.m., they arrested this man who was on the lookout for wild boar and was posted on a watchtower. His weapon was equipped with a sound moderator and a thermal scope. What is prohibited for hunting.

Two offenses were noted for night hunting and use of a thermal scope. He risks the withdrawal of his hunting license as well as the confiscation of his weapon. The procedure was transmitted to the prosecution of the Judicial Court of Nîmes.
