“Additional investigation”: why Cyril Hanouna’s show presented by Jacques Cardoze could not be broadcast ?

According to the producer of TPMP, two other issues of “Enquête de complement” are in preparation. MAXPPP – Aurelien Morissard

The program "Complementary Investigation" on the France Télévisions group, announced by Cyril Hanouna last September, would be completed. Judged "too violent" by Canal+, the documentary initially planned for January 2024, could never see the light of day.

On September 11, in the show "Morandini Live" broadcast on CNews, Cyril Hanouna, presenter of "Touche pas à mon poste" (TPMP) announced that it was preparing a new "shock" called "Complementary investigation" or "Additional investigation" on France Télévisions with Jacques Cardoze.

As a reminder, Jacques Cardoze had presented "Additional investigation" on France 2 between 2018 and 2021 and is a new recruit for the show "Touche pas à mon poste" this year.

Not scheduled

Throughout the year, during his bonuses on TPMP, Cyril Hanouna promised "very heavy&amp ;quot; to its viewers by touting an 80-minute show scheduled for January 2024. But since the announcement of the TPMP presenter in September, nothing. The documentary isn't even scheduled.

According to information from Le Parisien, the documentary which would be in its current state " finished" would not have gone to Canal+. The group also declared that it was  "not disseminated in its current state< /em>" because judged "too violent". The show might never even see the light of day, some in the group implied.

Two other shows are in preparation

For what reason ? the fear of a war with the France Télévisions group, particularly because Canal+ shares many financial interests with the latter.

Its biggest supplier, the production company "Banijay" includes certain shareholders of Vivendi, the majority shareholder of Canal + (Cyril Hanouna in particular) and produces France 2 and France 3 programs such as "Les Enfants de la télé& quot;, "Don't forget the lyrics" or again "Fort Boyard".

Lionel Stan, the boss of H2O and producer of "Touche pas à mon poste", denied this information by declaring: "We are filming two other issues on squatters and security during the Paris Olympic Games". He also added that the documentary on France Télévisions could be postponed until spring at the earliest, reports the Parisien.
