Aikido: the Montpellier club Aïki-Tanren is setting up an additional niche in the Pompignane Millénaire district

Aïki-Tanren Montpellier, Aikido club continues to develop its offer to introduce this martial art to the city.

The year 2024 has just begun and it will be sporty on all terrains. In aikido also with the Aïki-Tanren Montpellier club, the association established in the neighborhoods
Pompignane and Millénaire for 10 years now, who decided to mark the occasion with the opening of an additional two-hour slot open to all levels of practice. The club's main teachers, Emmanuelle Ranchoup and Gilles Rovere (respectively 5th and 4th dan), teach this martial art without competition in an atmosphere that is both friendly and studious.

Classes at the Bessière gymnasium

All Aïki-Tanren Montpellier classes are taught at the Mireille-Bessière gymnasium dojo, with free trials possible throughout the year during the following times: Mondays from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (all levels), Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (all levels) and Thursdays from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (different programming each month with courses for all levels and thematic courses).

Aikido is a martial art based on joint controls, partner imbalance and the use of breath. It conveys many values ​​such as respect for others and for oneself, self-control, mutual aid, modesty and the search for permanent progress.

The club is affiliated with the French Federation of Aikido and Budo (FFAB) and encourages participation in numerous local, regional or national courses throughout the year: Aikido is in fact a martial art without competition which is nourished by meetings and exchanges between teachers and students in classes or training courses.
