Pour aider les élèves et leurs parents dans leur choix, le salon Lycée Avenir regroupe 130 exposants jeudi 25 janvier, de 8h30 à 17h, au parc des expositions de Nîmes.

In Nîmes, for 36 years, the Lycée Avenir association created by the deputy principals of the city's high schools, the directors of CIO and professional training has organized the fair of the same name to help students find a sector this Thursday January 25, at the exhibition (free entry).   "More than 130 establishments will be present, mainly from Gard and Hérault, and also from neighboring departments, explains Delphine Granchi, the secretary of the association.

All sectors are present,  – management, commerce, health, art, tourism, catering… – and all levels, from apprenticeship to university. "We are seeing a real renewed interest in apprenticeships and also in security professions. The army, police, fire and gendarmerie stands are full!,” she observes. Mini-conferences on prep classes, Pass-Lass or the new BUT (Bachelor university technology, formerly DUT will punctuate the show.

1. The Companions of Duty

This is a sector of excellence for four types of training: building, industrial technologies, taste professions and soft materials. More than 10,000 young people are trained each year on a work-study basis and 92% find a job at the end of their training. In Nîmes, the Maison des Compagnons du Devoir is organizing its open days on Saturday January 20 and Sunday January 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Post-baccalaureate, it offers 18 work-study places in a bakery. 2. The AgroCampus of the Marie-Durand high school in Rodilhan

An open day is organized on Saturday March 2 (9 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.) at the AgroCampus to discover higher agricultural training. Three BTS are offered in landscaping, water management and control, which has a 95% success rate, and in viticulture-oenology. And professional licenses in environmental risks, organic agriculture and wine tourism.

3. Family and rural houses (MFR)

The family and rural houses open their doors on Saturday February 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These establishments, five in number in the Gard, offer work-study training from CAP to BTS and Bachelor. In Uzès, the MFR du Grand Mas allows you to follow a BTSA Plant Trades, in Marguerittes, the MFR de la Pinède offers a BTSA technical-commercial garden and pets and a Bachelor in management, option animal structure. 

4. The University Institute of Technology of Nîmes

With five BUT and five professional licenses, the IUT of Nîmes, which is organizing open days next Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m.  at 5 p.m., offers expertise in the secondary and tertiary sectors, also in apprenticeship or continuing education. Civil, mechanical, electrical or materials engineering in BUT rub shoulders with licenses in construction and industry professions, or even in the management of sports and leisure organizations.

5. The University of Nîmes

An unmissable place, which will present all of its services to future students on March 2 on its two sites. Namely, for science training, at Carmes, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and, for all other training, at Vauban, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. From the bachelor's degree to the doctorate, the university welcomes new baccalaureate graduates in six fields: sciences, arts, design, law, economics and management, literature, languages ​​and history, as well as psychology and Staps. Here again, continuing education or, for several courses, apprenticeship, are possible.

6. Purple Campus in Marguerittes

At the gates of Nîmes, the Purple Campus in Marguerittes offers training in a wide spectrum, ranging from management to tourism, including mechanics, languages, hotels and restaurants and business strategy. While the site will welcome potential candidates on Saturday, February 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., professional training, VAE, work-study training are the prerogative of the Purple Campus, which opens to both very short-term training (strengthening one's managerial skills, over two days) or more classic, in one year (consulting salesman or, in specialization, bachelor responsible for commercial development) or two years (Deust pharmacy technician, BP Arts de the kitchen, Pro vehicle maintenance baccalaureate).  

7. The CCI high school

At the CCI high school, it is Saturday February 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or Tuesday March 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., that students will be able to discover higher education (upon registration on the high school website). This establishment offers training up to bac + 5 in the service, commerce, sales, communication, HR, IT and digital sectors. Four BTS (bac+2), in communication and digital marketing, cybersecurity, operational commercial management and SME management.
Six from bac+3 to bac+5: bachelor's degree in web project manager, professional payroll management license, bachelor's degree in commerce and management, professional title of designer designer, master's degree in marketing sales and professional title of manager in human resources management.< br />  

8. The Alzon Institute

D'Alzon offers a wide range of higher education courses, focusing on professions in shortage to meet the needs of employers. The open day on Saturday February 3 (registration on the site before January 27) will allow you to discover, among other things, bac+2 or bac+3 training courses in specialized professions such as eyewear optician (BTS) or aeronautics (BTS) or home automation energy fluid (BTS). 

New training courses have been created such as a bachelor's degree in cybersecurity in industrial and urban systems, a senior technician in medical imaging and radiology (bac+3) or very recently a DEUST pharmacy technician.< /p>
