ASBH excesses in Vannes: an investigation has been opened for death threats and degradation

Une enquête a été ouverte pour des menaces de mort ainsi que des dégradations commises dans un hôtel proche de Vannes après la demi-finale de rugby entre Béziers et Vannes le 31 mai, a-t-on appris mercredi auprès du parquet.

The hotel being closed when they returned late at night, players from Béziers forced the door of the establishment, located in Theix-Noyalo about ten kilometers from Vannes, and helped themselves to alcohol. They also allegedly made death threats and a complaint was filed, indicated prosecutor Maxime Antier, according to whom "investigations are continuing" and the investigation entrusted to the gendarmerie.

According to Ouest-France, which revealed the facts, the manager of the hotel was allegedly the target of these death threats. The Béziers club “is still trying to find out exactly what happened in order to take internal disciplinary measures. A player has been identified and summoned”, the club told the Breton daily.

“Five to six players are believed to be involved. They did not have the digital code and allegedly damaged the door to get in. There was also talk of damage, including broken glass and damaged furniture in a room,” the club added to Ouest-France.
