At the BHV brewery, the Alès inter-company challenge is being prepared

La brasserie de l'Hôtel de Ville organise, ce jeudi 6 juin, la troisième édition de son concours de pétanque qui rassemble entreprises, champions de la disciplines et parfois des célébrités.

On the terrace of the brasserie of the Hôtel de Ville (BHV), phones in hand, Olivier Sanguinède, launches the last invitations for the 3rd edition of his inter-company pétanque competition which will take place on Thursday, June 6, at from 9 a.m.

Recognized "champions" and "some celebrities"

On the esplanade of the Alès town hall, a bowling green will be set up to allow the 48 teams to compete. With Lionel Ponge, the owner of the establishment, Olivier Sanguinède is preparing some surprises: "We are bringing in recognized champions like Henri Lacroix, Philippe Suchaud, Robinau, Dylan Rocher, Ligan Doerr , Adrien Delahaye… Companies form teams that have the opportunity to play against these champions. We hope to bring some celebrities too." 

The matches will continue all day, and the final is scheduled for the end of the afternoon. "For this edition, we have also planned a tribute to our friend David Martin, explains Olivier Sanguinède. With the Pétanque business tour, we wanted to award a prize in his name. Having recently left, he largely supported the project of this pétanque competition from the start while he was responsible at Crédit Agricole."
