Attack on a 14-year-old teenager in front of her school in Frontignan: the three perpetrators sentenced

The schoolgirl had been beaten up in front of witnesses after classes in Frontignan for a trivial reason. The video made the rounds on social networks. 

Justice has ruled in the case of the ultraviolent attack on January 8 of a schoolgirl in front of the Simone de Beauvoir establishment in Frontignan. ;nbsp;A 14-year-old student was hit by a student with around forty blows, kicks, punches, her head hit on the ground, just in front of the school. All of this, filmed and broadcast on social networks by a second schoolboy. While a third accomplice had refrained from coming to the victim's aid to prevent the attack.

An apology to the audience

The three minors were presented on March 13 before a children's judge at the Montpellier court. At the end of the hearing attended by the victim and her family, the three defendants were found guilty of the facts. The latter presented their apologies to the civil parties. The three defendants who were excluded from the college were placed, pending the pronouncement of their sanction, under judicial supervision with an obligation to provide psychological monitoring and to respect educational measures.

A second hearing will take place next October as provided for in the Penal Code for Minors, during which the sentences of the three perpetrators will be determined by the children's judge as well as the damages and interest to be paid to the parties civilians.
