Bad weather: searches are still continuing to find the two missing children in Dions

Après les intempéries meurtrières de ce week-end, quatre corps ont été retrouvés. Les pompiers cherchent toujours deux enfants disparus.

The search actively resumed this Tuesday morning from 7:30 a.m. Firefighters are looking for two children aged 12 and 4 who went missing near the Dions submersible bridge.

The water level of the Gardon has dropped and the search area is widened beyond the Saint-Nicolas bridge. 

70 firefighters engaged

This Tuesday, seventy firefighters are engaged (compared to one hundred yesterday), thirty of whom specialize in white water research. Ten dogs trained to search for living people and their handlers from the dog brigade support them.

Firefighters from Vaucluse and Hérault are also there as reinforcements and a Civil Security unit from Brignoles will arrive in the area.
