CAF: find out how to benefit from assistance of several hundred euros to pass the BAFA

Financial support of 200 euros to finance the passage of the certificate of aptitude for the functions of facilitator is possible without any resource condition being required.

The bafa is required for leisure and holiday entertainment for children and adolescents, and can be obtained from the age of 16 years old. The family allowance fund (CAF) grants you aid of a minimum amount of 200 euros provided that you (or your parents) request it. How to receive this help ?

All you need to do is complete "a request form at each of the three stages of the training", which you must "send to the CAF" on which your domicile depends, "within three months after the end of your course", specifies the Cnaf.

The three stages of Bafa are:

An 8-day general training course; A 14-day practical internship; A 6-day in-depth study or an 8-day qualification.

These different sessions must be completed within a maximum period of 30 days.

It is also possible to obtain additional assistance, granted by most CAFs. The town hall, departmental council or regional council can provide you with support.

You have completed a civic service mission between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023 ? You can benefit from assistance from the ;Statement in the amount of 100 euros. This support must be requested online from the Services and Payment Agency (ASP). Your request must be submitted no later than November 30, 2024.
