Cap d'Agde: Frey thinks of D'Ettore, Nadal salutes this resignation

The resignation of Mayor Gilles D'Ettore sparked reactions during the inauguration of the new reception of the tourist office and the annexed town hall of Cap d’Agde, which took place this Friday May 31.

It is at the foot of the Iconic real estate complex, imagined by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and wanted by Gilles d'Ettore, that the’ Friday evening we inaugurated the new reception of the Cap d’Agde Méditerranée intercommunal tourist office, as well as the annexed town hall of Cap d’Agde.

In the presence of numerous mayors of the Hérault-Médiranée agglomeration, the discussions obviously revolved around the resignation of Gilles D'Ettore, mayor of Agde and president of the Agglo, announced a few hours earlier. The 1st deputy Sébastien Frey began his speech by declaring that he had, "personally and publicly, an affectionate thought for Gilles D'Ettore." Words applauded by the crowd, not necessarily by Doctor Thierry Nadal, leader of the opposition, who declared that "Gilles d’Ettore is an Agathois and he certainly considered that this resignation, which I had requested for two months, was the best service to render to his city."
