Citroën C3 recall: anger is also rising in Sète

Barcode that doesn't arrive, toll-free number that doesn't respond, illusory loan vehicle: in Sète, Louisa Mahdi no longer hides her anger even though Citroën has been asking her for more than ;one month "to stop driving immediately" its C3.

"I do what ? At the end of April, Citroën sent me a registered letter asking me to immediately stop driving my C3. Since then, I have been waiting for a barcode which does not arrive. I can't make an appointment because I'm missing this barcode. The authorized repairer can't do anything for me. The toll-free number does not answer. There are no loaner vehicles! And I don't have another car with many medical appointments to keep."

Anger is growing at Louisa Mahdi. The Sétoise, who lives in the Quilles district, has been driving a C3 since 2015, which is one of the many vehicles recalled for defective Takata airbags. For more than a month, she has been waiting for this famous barcode without which we cannot order new airbags to replace the old ones.

Louisa Mahdi may be relieved to learn that the deadlines are "just a few days" to make an appointment at one of the two Citroën dealerships in the Thau basin approved for airbag changes (Mèze and Frontignan). But who is still desperately waiting for their barcode to be able to do it!
