Des oranges maltaises en provenance de Tunisie et vendues dans les supermarchés Leclerc ont fait l'objet d'un rappel de produit ce vendredi 23 février en raison d'un taux trop élevé de pesticides.
Be careful if you have recently purchased Maltese oranges from Tunisia at Leclerc. The government site Rappel Conso recalls several batches sold by the brand, due to "the presence of pesticides beyond the regulatory threshold".
The batch concerned is sold in the form of an unbranded 1.5 kilo sachet, category 1, caliber 7/8. The oranges are packaged under batch number 18166. The GTIN code is 3770000906028.
Many departments concerned
Many departments are affected by this recall in Ile-de-France, Hauts-de-France and the Grand-Est. The complete list of departments is available on the Rappel Conso website.

To avoid any health risk, Rappel Conso gives three recommendations: no longer consume these oranges, return the product to the point of sale or destroy it. The site also assures the consumer that said product will be reimbursed.
This recall comes on the same day as the publication of a study conducted by Génération futures, according to which more than two thirds of fruits and almost half of non-organic vegetables are contaminated by pesticides.
