Eyguières: A beautiful Apollo (Du Rousty) in duet with Romain Fouque

This Saturday in the Eyguières arenas, the Trophée Honneur Midi opened the Finals of the Midi Libre, La Provence, FFCC Bullfighting Trophy. 

Patrice Blanc's dazzling capelado showcases water and the fountain thanks to the lively dances of Escolo Mistralenco and Étoile de l'Avenir accompanied by the herdsmen of the Agu manade and her majesty Amélie Laugier, Queen of Arles and her maid of honor Faustine Bret.

The interesting finale to follow crowns Romain Fouque, who is not very successful in the crochet, and allows the omnipresent Rémi Chevalier to climb onto the podium occupied by Errik, who nevertheless did not disgrace himself. The others play the game in good spirit. Among the bulls, none disgrace himself. The barricader Apollon is named best bull of the final after a serious first part and a more spectacular second.

As an excellent first Khéops delivers strongly behind Rémy Chevalier. Well-established on the strings, he is nimble on the recoveries and does not easily give up the lead. He changes terrain, gives the white caravel a hard time, which does not scuttle him. He brilliantly keeps his balls of wool. 6 Carmen and return.

Blessed with extreme generosity, Gold Digger stands up to everything as well as to this raset of Radouane Errik. Cyril Daniel – Cyril Daniel The white researchers find the good vein ofGold Digger (White, N. 389) to the ribbons (1’15). The white extraction continues at a high pace with strings. Generous and voluntary, the series follow one another with flawless regularity and a heroic finale. A black nugget that brings back its strings in music played 8 times.

Poker and Rémy Chevalier in a heated exchange. Cyril Daniel – Cyril Daniel After a timid bluff at the start, Poker (Fabre-Mailhan, N. 402) comes running after the raseteurs with malice. He looks for fault on Ruiz who is late on the other side and comes back alone. At the strings he shows his cards anticipation and bravery, dangerously locks Errik and remains master of his pair of strings after having raised the stakes (400 €). 7 Carmen and return.

Not easy for Romain Fouque to reach the head of the complicated Moka. Cyril Daniel – Cyril Daniel Facing a Moka (Gillet, N. 688) full-bodied we are looking for ourselves on the white side. Chevalier cuts the cockade only at the 5th minute. On H. Ben Ammar the impact is powerful but if at the strings the bonuses rise, the well-positioned bioù receives a work drop by drop which lets him cool down for lack of rasets to grind. 3 Carmen and back to school.

Apollon's strong conclusion behind Hedi Chebaiki. Cyril Daniel – Cyril Daniel The Ben Ammar brothers share the ribbons ofApollon(Du Rousty, N. 527) in 2’30 while Chevalier and Fouque suffer the first impacts. His track holding is not perfect but the fifteen or so fence hits including 7 powerful ones on the coattails of Fouque alone allow him to collect the daily prize. Brings in a string with 12 Carmen and applauded return.

Corte flies away behind Sofian Ben Ammar. Cyril Daniel – Cyril Daniel Reputed barricadier, Corte (DeMéjanes) finishes with boundless energy. Frank or even easy on the raset his battering rams (13) or jumps (2) are committed and end this final on a good note with as a highlight a prodigious flight up to the perimeter wall on S. Ben Ammar. 9 Carmen and return carrying a string.
