Football: Entente Nord Lozère falls in Brioude, end of invincibility series

The northern Lozère footballers lost (0 to 2) away in the R2 championship.

The Lozériens definitely don't make it against the Brivadois and concede their first defeat (0 to 2) since February. The greens remain on the podium but this setback takes them away from first place and lets US Brioude take the lead.

In the first half, the Énélistes were unable to fully get into their match. They don't have their usual impact and desire and are surprised from the second minute (0-1). The ENL does not succeed in putting its game down and Brioude takes the upper hand. The Brivadois are stronger in duels and the Lozériens have difficulty building the game and finding opportunities.

At the end of the period, the Saint-Albanian coach decides to change the game plan. A tactic that pays off because the Énélistes manage to stay in the match and suffer less. Despite this change, they will not be able to come back to the level of the Brivadois and this first act ends with a score of 1 to 0 in favor of US Brioude.

Lack of success

Returning from the locker room, the greens change their face, they project themselves more forward like Mathis Mazaudier who could have equalized on several occasions, but the striker Barraban lacks ;nbsp;success. It must be said that the ENL was not helped by the refereeing either and was denied two goals from Martin Touron and Pierre Serain in more than contentious situations. Situations that could have tipped the meeting in favor of the Enelists.

Despite this burst of pride, the greens cannot find the net and the Brivadois double the lead in the 60th minute (0-2). The Lozériens were not up to the task and returned home full of regrets. "We failed individually and collectively against a very solid team, declared coach Lilian Condon after the match. But if I have to have regrets at the end of the season, it won't be about this match."
