Football: two youth teams from the Thau basin will play a final
|Les U20 de l’Asfac n’ont, eux, pas trouvé l’ouverture.
Les U15 du SC Sète et les U17 de l'Asfac ont brillé en Coupe de l'Hérault.
Jacou-Clapiers Football Association is certainly the district club of the season. Semi-finalist in U15, U17 and senior, certainly elected for promotion to D1 in a few days, the suburban club deserves praise for its exceptional year.
Shoot Masters
However, this Saturday April 20, Franck Casalis's U15s, at the end of a penalty shootout, damaged the beautiful page in the club's history. In the final, the young Sétois will face the Montpellier team from Atlas. A great reward which follows the crucial match of their elders… there also against the Atlas.
The next day, it was the Muscatiers who added a layer by snatching their ticket for the final, still against the Jacoumards. By equalizing in stoppage time, they thought they had done the hard part. Unfortunately for them, the Frontignanais won on penalties. They will face Vendargues in the final.
The Asfac U20s came very close to a ticket for the last four of the Coupe d’Occitanie. It was on the sixth shot on goal that they gave in in a tight game from start to finish.
