With Punaauia, discussions revolved around the creation of a Fise Tahiti, as part of the cooperation established by the two cities in connection with urban sports. A CM2 class from the Manotahi school in Punaauia was even able to meet students from the François-Mitterrand school. These children will take part in sporting activities during the Olympic torch relay this Monday. Also, a cooperation agreement with the city of Sakaï has linked Montpellier to this city since 2023. It relies on the economic sector of the territory's sporting activities to promote their development and reciprocal attractiveness.

Finally, Singapore and Shanghai have shown themselves to be very interested in continuing exchanges around sport with the Metropolis, both in terms of sporting events, equipment and the sharing of good practices, following a visit to the Montpellier International BMX Skatepark – Ronan Pointeau and Fise Montpellier.
