After the judicial liquidation of Camaïeu and the setbacks of Go Sport and Gap France, another brand partly owned by Michel Ohayon sees its future threatened.

The 26 Galeries Lafayette stores belonging to the Bordeaux businessman have in fact been in safeguard procedure for a year. The future of employees of the Galeries Lafayette is suspended from the examination by the Bordeaux commercial court, Wednesday February 14, of the business continuation plan proposed by Michel Ohayon.

Last week, the inter-union CFDT/CFE-CGC/CGT/FO/CFTC representing the staff issued an unfavorable opinion  on the map. According to a source close to the matter, management responded this Monday morning by launching an internal survey so that employees can express their views "individually", reports Sud Ouest .

Which stores are affected ?

The 26 stores have around 1,000 employees in Agen, Amiens, Angoulême, Bayonne, Beauvais, Belfort, Besançon, Caen, Cannes, Chalon-sur-Saône, Chambéry, Dax, La Roche- sur-Yon, La Rochelle, Libourne, Lorient, Montauban, Niort, Rouen, Saintes, Tarbes and Toulon, as well as Tours, Pau, Rosny-sous-Bois and Coquelles near Calais.< /p>

All these stores and the employees will learn their fate this Wednesday, February 14.
