“Good insulation”: this is the priority of Occitans in their search for accommodation

In their process of finding new accommodation, the inhabitants of Occitanie have very precise ideas about what they are looking for. On the criteria which, according to them, define good housing. The study carried out by Harris Interactive is quite enlightening on this subject.

Insulation, a priority

The first expectation is thermal insulation. For 69% of people questioned, their future home must benefit from "good thermal insulation", which would make it possible to reduce energy bills. In second position, they place brightness. For 63%, the accommodation must be bright. The sun, the number one asset of southern cities, must be fully exploited.

Finally, in third position, tied (63%), they prioritize sound insulation. This is followed by high-speed Internet access (58%), a sufficient number of rooms,  "so that each member of the household can self-isolate (55%), and an individual and secure parking space "(52%).
