Thursday June 6, around 6:15 a.m., the national police were alerted to the presence of an armed individual, rue Charles-Bonaparte, near the Grand Mail in La Paillade. While passing near a parked car with the window down, a pedestrian saw the driver cocking a pistol. Based on the report provided, the police spotted the motorist, who drove off and hit a parked vehicle.
An automatic alarm gun
The driver is arrested without difficulty. He is indeed in possession of a weapon, an automatic alarm pistol, which is a complete illusion. It is chambered with two blank cartridges. Next to him, the police discovered 46 other cartridges.
The 23-year-old young man, living nearby, is clearly intoxicated and refuses to submit to the blood alcohol test. Taken to the police station, he ends up blowing into the breathalyzer at 4:30 p.m. and still has a level of 0.74g of alcohol in his blood.
A series of violations noted
He explains that he consumed vodka, that he intended to hide the weapon so that it would not stay in his apartment , and that he was not targeting the pedestrian who raised the alarm. As for the car, he says that it belongs to a garage and that he is considering buying it.
The accused is summoned before the prosecutor's delegate for carrying a prohibited weapon, driving while drunk and without insurance and refusal to submit to checks.< /p>
