Hérault: hotlines to respond to farmers’ difficulties

The system will be in place from Monday morning, in the Hérault prefecture and in the sub-prefectures.

A new emergency system was presented on Friday by the Héraut prefecture. From this Monday, March 4, offices will be set up, as close as possible to the field, in the prefecture of Hérault and in the sub-prefectures, in Béziers and Lodève. Without appointment, these morning slots, from 9 a.m. to noon, are intended for "to respond quickly to the difficulties encountered by farmers by providing them with individualized and local treatment", in compliance with President Macron's commitments.

A partnership with the Réagir unit

These hours will be provided, in conjunction with the Réagir professional unit, dedicated to supporting farmers in difficulty, made up of the Hérault Chamber of Agriculture, the MSA and the L’ ADASEA. Run by state agents, in partnership with the Réagir professional unit, these offices on the three Héraultais sites will allow personalized support for farmers and an exchange on all the difficulties encountered on the farms, (the presentation of ;rsquo;an MSA certificate will be requested).

An orientation

Depending on the nature of the problem raised, the request will be directed to the Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea (DDTM), the Departmental Directorate of Public Finances (DDFIP), the Bank of France, the Departmental Directorate of Population Protection (DDPP ). Other services may also be requested depending on requests, the objective being to provide a rapid and local response.
