In 2023, the Telethon did better than the previous year, raising €125,315 in Lozère

Les diverses animations organisées dans le département permettent d’atteindre ce bon résultat.

On December 8 and 9, the 2023 Telethon raised 92,905,533 euros in France. For Lozère, the results have just fallen. The amount collected during local events amounts to 67 876 € (compared to 61 074 € in 2022) and that of online donations at 57 439 € (60 938 € in 2022), which generates an overall collection of 125 315 € (compared to 122 012 € 2022).

A great mobilization

The departmental coordination team led by Françoise Gambier is delighted with this excellent participation, which we owe to the donors, organizers, associations and volunteers mobilized on numerous activities. This supports research into neuromuscular genetic diseases as well as other rare genetic diseases.

Preparation for Telethon 2024 has already started. The Camping Telethon operation will take place this summer and, due to the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral on December 7 and 8, the 2024 Telethon will take place exceptionally on the weekend of November 29 and 30. Once again, Lozère associations will be invited to mobilize!
