The Dragon 48 intervened, this Saturday, August 3, 2024 at noon, to rescue the victim who was suffering from back pain, before evacuating him to the Mende hospital center.

A 21-year-old man was injured this Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 12 p.m., after a bad landing during a jump into the water. He jumped from a 12-metre high rock at a spot between Sainte-Énimie and Saint-Chély-du-Tarn, and severely fractured his back. The Florac firefighters intervened but due to the victim's location – on the other side of the bank – the Dragon 48 in Grimp version (Groupement de reconnaissance et d'intervention en milieu perileux) went to the scene to winch him up. The twenty-year-old complained of severe back pain and was evacuated to Mende hospital.
