Incarcerated for six years, a Montpellier man tries to escape by borrowing the name of another inmate

Ayant demandé un délai pour préparer sa défense, ce trentenaire a été maintenu en prison dans l’attente de son procès renvoyé au 31 mai.

Incarcerated since March 25, 2017 and released on February 20, 2025, a 33-year-old from Montpellier, whose record shows twelve convictions, appeared this Friday, 19th. nbsp;April before the judicial court to answer for an attempted escape committed on October 25.

That day, when he was presented for immediate appearance, he took advantage of the fact that another inmate had fallen asleep in the court's jails to take his identity.

At his request, this Friday, his trial was postponed until May 31. In the meantime, he was kept in prison.
