This Wednesday, April 3, Louis Aliot announced that Jean-Marie Le Pen was placed under "legal protection regime". 

Jean-Marie Le Pen, 95 years old, was placed "under legal protection regime", said Wednesday, April 3, the vice-president of the RN Louis Aliot, confirming information from RMC.

A protection mandate in January

The former president of the National Front (ex-RN) was the subject of a protection warrant in mid-February, explained to the ;AFP his lawyer, Me François Wagner, a civil provision which is similar to guardianship.
