Jean-Moulin high school students organized their first post-Covid prom, in La Pasquière, in Béziers

Some 130 students took part in this first edition, organized by the Maison des lycéens and the Conseil de vie lycéenne and based on the theme of the Cannes Film Festival.

The student association La Maison des lycéens (MDL) and the High School Life Council (CVL) joined forces to set up the first high school ball post-Covid promo, aimed at general, technological and professional final year students at the Jean-Moulin de Béziers high school.  

A great outcome because, between cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic and some organizational setbacks, "that was at least five years that high school students have been waiting for this event", indicates Dorothée Cabanes, senior education advisor.

Star style of the Cannes Film Festival

"This year, the students were able to argue with each adult they met so that their wish  is granted, continues the CPE. Place found, budget closed, promotion made, the students were welcomed at the Les Jardins de la Pasquière, privatized for the occasion, and enjoyed an evening under the theme of the Cannes Film Festival". 

Princess dresses, rhinestones and sequins on one side, suits and bow ties on the other, from 7 p.m. to midnight this Tuesday, May 7, everything was there for an evening in joy and good humor, "under the benevolent gaze of some high school staff, transformed into chaperones and suddenly returning to their 20s". All that remains is to wait a year to start again.
