Julie from Koh Lanta files complaint against her ex-partner Miguel Martinez: accusations of cheating, death threats… what we know

On July 2, former Olympic mountain bike champion Miguel Martinez will be tried for harassment and home invasion following a complaint filed by Julie Rignault, his ex-partner and finalist of the last season of Koh-Lanta. A couple for several years, they now tear each other apart and accuse each other.

They broke up at the beginning of the year, after the end of filming for Koh-Lanta, the immunity hunters, and just before the first episodes were broadcast on TF1. Since then, Miguel Martinez and Julie Rignault have been tearing each other apart.

According to the Journal du center, the former French cyclist contacted people involved in the organization and running of the game. He allegedly confided to them that Julie Rignault had cheated during an elimination game and reported her past of a drug user.

The thirty-year-old thus accuses Miguel Martinez of having tried to harm her by using information on Koh-Lanta while she was subject to a confidentiality agreement with the production of the TF1 game .

For his part, the Olympic mountain bike champion claims to have stopped all communication when TF1 told him "that it was no longer necessary to speak, otherwise there would be prosecution".

Also accused of "home invasion", Miguel Martinez firmly contests this. The matter might not end there. The athlete also filed a complaint against the Koh-Lanta finalist for "threat of crime against people with an order to fulfill a condition".

According to Le Parisien, he says he received death threats. Some people even came to his house. Armed, one of them would have opened fire without hurting him. Statements rejected outright by his ex-partner's lawyers.

Miguel Martinez is subject to judicial supervision with a ban on contact with Julie Rignault. He will be tried on July 2.
