Kayakers from the Cazouls-lès-Béziers college qualified for France

Six jeunes collégiens de Cazouls-lès-Béziers se sont qualifiés pour la finale des championnats de France de kayak qui aura lieu, à Épinal, dans les Vosges, au mois de mai.

Just before the holidays, young kayakers from the Cazouls-lès-Béziers college participated brilliantly in the academic championship in Agonès, north of Montpellier, on the Hérault river. Six of them qualified for the French UNSS championships which will take place the week of May 20 in Épinal, in the Vosges.

Six kayakers set off for the Vosges

Four will be in the pool, two will be young officials. They will be accompanied by their PE teacher Régis Grosclaude, who runs this section with the champion Bryan Seiler, every Wednesday afternoon in autumn and spring on the Réals base, in Cessenon. Réals Base, without whom, organizing this activity for middle school students would not be possible.

Ten middle school students participated in the academy championships

In all, ten middle school students from Cazouls took part in the academic team championship, with a gold medal for Camille Caujolle, Raphaël Giraud, Lohan Tora and Célyan Juan, first ;silver for Maissa Njareg, Mathias Fernandez, Dylan Mathorel and Léna Martre Blaise, bronze for Hugo Frankenbach and Hugo Chouquet.
