Durant toute la période d’Escale à Sète, la boutique Flying Cat accueille une exposition de modèles réduits consacrée aux voiles latines.

There are life-size lateen sails, of which the eponymous association perpetuates the tradition in Sète at the Plagette shipyard. And there are the reduced model lateen sails, which are on display at Wilfried Dunand's Flying Cat boutique throughout the duration of Stopover in Sète. Located at 1, quai Charles Lemaresquier, the Flying Cat houses a unique collection of 25 boat models which retrace the history of fishing and trade from the 18th century until after -war.

Sétois heritage

Made by Roger Bresson, Wilfried Dunand's grandfather, these scale models follow the plans of Anges Ricciardi, his great-grandfather. The latter owned the shipyard at Pointe Courte, destroyed in 1990. This exhibition is an opportunity to discover or rediscover a whole section of Sète's heritage. The opportunity, also, to come and admire the famous "Sétois boat", whose collection houses one of the last specimens.
