Launch of the season of gourmet dishes in the Thau basin

Les assiettes gourmandes reprennent de plus belle. – CPIE DU BASSIN DE THAU

Cinq communes du territoire accueillent et soutiennent ce projet : Balaruc-le-Vieux, Frontignan, Montbazin Poussan et Agde.

The National Agriculture Days took place on June 7, 8 and 9. These dates marked the launch of the Gourmet Plates season for volunteers and producers of the Paniers de Thau project who offer to come and discover and taste the delicious products from local and environmentally friendly agriculture , during their 2024 Assiettes Gourmandes.

Les "Baskets of Thau" is a network of short food circuits coordinated by the CPIE Bassin de Thau and supported by purchasing groups made up of volunteer citizens. Today, five municipalities in the territory welcome and support this project: Balaruc- le-Vieux, Frontignan, Montbazin, Poussan and Agde. Every week, consumers registered on the site can order products from a wide variety, and pick them up at the delivery location in the presence of the producers.< /p>

The dates to remember

• On Thursday, June 27, the Montbazinovores will welcome you from 7 p.m. at the Montbazin multipurpose room.

• On Wednesday July 3 , the Fronticourts will welcome you from 7 p.m. at the Square de la Liberté in Frontignan.

• On Tuesdays July 9, 16, 23 and 30, the Pouss’en Faim will welcome you from 7 p.m. on the town hall square in Poussan.

In addition to a sales circuit, the project actors offer moments of exchange and meetings between consumers and producers during the summer: "Les assiettes gourmandes". On this occasion, the producers involved in the project will offer preparations of their products, with tasting plates at low prices. These festive evenings will be accompanied by educational stands and musical entertainment. Finally, zero-waste reflex: you are asked to bring your own cutlery, glasses and plates, and small change.
