“Le Tremplin”, a fine example of inclusion in catering inaugurated in Montpellier

Open since October in the Mosson district of Montpellier, the application restaurant of Esat (Establishment and Service for Help through Work) l'Envol, called &quot ;The springboard" was officially inaugurated last Thursday during a ceremony full of enthusiasm. 

Montpellier residents, at the table! The application restaurant "Le Tremplin", opened by the L'envol association, was officially inaugurated on Thursday 16  May in the Mosson district. During the ceremony, which brought together more than sixty people, Xavier Heber-Suffrin, director of Esat in Castelnau-le-Lez, did not full of praise for this initiative. For the uninitiated, a work assistance establishment and service is a structure which supports people with disabilities, allowing them to exercise a professional activity .

Access classic restoration

This program also allows them to benefit from medical, social and educational support. This new restaurant constitutes a  springboard for those who work there, allowing them to later access positions in traditional catering. "This establishment allows the people we support to acquire new skills while being in an "ordinary" of work" indicates Xavier Heber-Suffrin.

Located in the heart of Mosson, the restaurant is currently training five cooks, all supervised by a cooking workshop instructor and has a good reception capacity since 70 place settings can be served there. The establishment also has a terrace and a meeting room. The à la carte menu changes every week and everything is certified organic.

The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.; Formulas: starter, main course and dessert at 24.50 euros; and the starter and main course or main course and dessert at 19.90 euros. Meet at 139 rue Joe Dassin in Montpellier.
