Que retenez-vous de vos deux ans de mandat ?

I had a lot of fun representing the constituency for two years. I was a grassroots, local elected official. I have 83% participation in the votes in the National Assembly, 300 amendments proposed. I have tabled three bills. One related to the security risk represented by Huawai via 5G. Another to return to the ancient Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées regions. And finally another against the francization of foreign wines. I had three other texts in progress before the dissolution. A resolution to force France to renegotiate aid for the decarbonization of fishing (FEAMPA) with Europe. One on the recognition of agricultural calamity for oyster farmers. And we proposed a commission of inquiry into the interference of foreign laws in digital technology. There, we were preparing the Fishing Conference for the start of the school year.

There have been demonstrations against the far right. Do you understand that the RN is scary, in the world of culture for example??

We have been caricatured. It was the game of our opponents. But it works less and less, if not at all. The only thing that can be scary is perhaps the privatization of public broadcasting. Do you still know many liberal democracies that have state press agencies? The public service must have total neutrality, which is not the case today ;today. We voted in favor of audits every two years against foreign interference. Personally, I especially see a far-left Nupes bloc which is hysterizing the debate. When we have bad apples, we fire them everywhere. But the extreme left invests madmen, anti-Semites, S files.

In 15 days, how will you campaign?

We knock on doors, we carry messages. We have the opportunity to take a different direction with Jordan Bardella Prime Minister, and clear proposals. For the next three months, we want to eliminate land law and state medical aid. We are going to recover 40 and 50 billion from the cost of immigration. The presidential majority has generated 930 billion more debts in seven years. Macronia destroyed the country. We are patriots. Security, the audit of public accounts and purchasing power are priorities. We will lower VAT to 5.5% on energy products and reduce the amount of French people's energy bills by 30 to 40%.

Is your program still tenable given what your party says about the state's financial situation?

We have three months of absolute emergency, until October: it’s electricity, immigration, security, audit. Then, we begin the major reforms. We will carry out this pension reform and we will eliminate VAT on 100 essential products. We will recover the money where it is, like the state's lifestyle. It will certainly be necessary to think about the elimination of a local level, at the level of departments or regions. At the local level, the day Jordan Bardella is elected, the Minister of Fisheries will be in Sète. We are going to pass a major simplification law to free winegrowers from administrative constraints, and fight against unfair competition from foreign wines. On security, we will take care of police reinforcements in Agde and Sète. Jordan Bardella is aware of the classification of Thau Island as a priority security zone.
