Local residents celebrating despite rugby

Une fête des voisins traditionnelle et conviviale, en toute simplicité.

Le comité de quartier a organisé sa fête des voisins, le 31 mai.

Friday, May 31, the Liberté-Zola neighborhood committee brought residents together for a friendly moment during Neighbors' Day, on Place Émile-Zola.

"Everyone brings their own dish, savory or sweet. We have sent invitations to our members, and people from the neighborhood can come. We also invited the other neighborhood committees, Champ-de-Mars and Gausselet-Aviateurs", explained Nicole Coste, the president.

The party took place in a small group this year, because the same evening the ASBH played in Vannes. A most prestigious neighbor could therefore not be present: William van Bost, number 6 of the Biterroise team. Despite everything, the reception took place in a good atmosphere.

Next meeting of the committee: the garage sale this weekend (Saturday June 8) . Some 35 exhibitors have already registered and those interested can still do so on 06 15 08 96 50. Another upcoming project: a discovery trip to the Camargue, on June 29.
