Man stabbed in Cabannes, an investigating judge appointed in the coming days, the Marseille SR responsible for the murder

Tuesday March 5, the body of a fifty-year-old was found in a home in Cabannes (13). The man was stabbed and tied up.

"No lead is ruled out" according to the public prosecutor of Tarascon, Laurent Gumbau questioned this Friday March 8 on the murder of a fifty-year-old found dead Tuesday March 5 in a home located in Cabannes (Bouches-du-Rhône). The man was discovered deceased while the door to the home was apparently open. The municipal police and then the gendarmes intervened in the apartment, only being able to note the death of this man in his fifties. According to our information, the victim was tied up to the  feet level and allegedly received several stab wounds. The death could have occurred during the night from Monday to Tuesday. An autopsy was to be scheduled at the institute of legal medicine in Nîmes, we learned this Friday. But the Tarascon public prosecutor did not wish to discuss the precise causes of death to avoid information being disclosed. Prosecutor Gumbau also indicated that the judicial investigation would relate to acts of homicide. and that the file would soon be transmitted to the criminal division of the Aix-en-Provence judicial court on which the Tarascon judicial court depends. Which means that an investigating judge will be appointed in the coming days. or even early next week. The Marseille research section is responsible for the investigation.
