MAP. College ranking 2024: Montpellier, Nîmes, Perpignan… Is your school well rated ?

Le classement des meilleurs collèges de France a été dévoilé ce 20 mars 2024. Où se situent les établissements scolaires de la région dans ce palmarès ?

Nos confrères de BFMTV and National Education publish the ranking of the best colleges in France for the year 2024. Find out where Occitanie establishments are positioned.

Three main criteria

From the "result indicators", national education ranks more than&nbsp ;2 300 establishments each year. Three main criteria make it possible to rate these colleges: their pass rate for the brevet the previous year, the raw written mark the same year (average before possible increase by the jury) and ;their "added value" for these two indicators.

By "added value", the ministry intends < em>"the difference between the results obtained and the results that were hoped for". These expected results are based on the academic and socio-professional characteristics of the students in each establishment.

Is your school a good student ?

In Hérault, the private college l'Assomption comes first in Montpellier, followed by the private college Saint-Guilhem in Clermont-l'Hérault and the college private Pic la Salle in Béziers. 

On the Gard side, the private colleges of Sommières (Maintenon) and Nîmes (Jean Bptiste La Salle) come out on top. In Lozère, the Notre-Dame private college arrives first. On the Aveyron side, it is the private college of Sacré Coeur which wins, in Saint-Chély-d'Apcher. 

In the Pyrénées-Orientales, the private college Jeanne d'Arc in Perpignan arrives first, followed by the private establishment located in Saint-Cyprien, the college Saint-Pierre de the Sea.

The best establishment in the region is in Toulouse. Also private, the Emilie de Rodat college rises to 17th place in the ranking in France, out of 6,615.
