A great moment to end a sporting year full of activities.

Saturday June 1st, the Mende Gymnastics spring festival took place at the theater. The public came in large numbers to applaud the gymnasts’ exploits. Chantal Beaumevieille, the president, presented this dynamic club, with 740 members, around 300 children and 400 adults. She then presented the leaders of the different groups, Frédéric, Valérie, Séverine, Blandine Véronique, Baya, Rochdyne and Florence, to the warm applause of the crowd.

The gymnasts followed one another on stage to present the work carried out throughout the year. It was a succession of sports gymnastics, dance, flash mob, Fit’stik, Zumba and even jazz dance, interspersed with short films presenting the club. Among the new features, oxygen walking, Nordic walking, the two parent-baby groups and the body awareness group for 3-4 year olds. A colorful and enchanting afternoon; the public gave their voice to encourage the athletes.
