MTB XCE: Gardoise Margaux Borrelly French cross-country eliminator champion, Lorenzo Serres second

La vététiste de Laudun a décroché son premier titre national, celui de Sauve n’a fini qu’à la deuxième place du championnat de France, samedi 4 mai, à Levens, dans les Alpes-Maritimes.

Margaux Borrelly is French cross-country eliminator champion at the age of 22. The first major title in the career of the young mountain biker from Laudun, in the Gard. She said that the Levens course in the Alpes-Maritimes which resembled that of Paris Montmartre where she finished 3rd in the  rsquo;World Cup stage could suit him.

This is exactly what happened for the Marseille VTT Passion licensee, who won all her heats after finishing 2nd in qualifying.

Serres must leave his jersey on

A circuit which inspired Lorenzo Serres less. Despite everything, the other Gardois, reigning French champion, finished in second place behind his rival Titouan Perrin Ganier.
