One last match on the road without any sporting issues for Montpellier which travels to Aix-en-Provence

"The challenge of this match ? Finish the season in a very professional manner. And to secure the maximum possible points by the end." At the start of his last 10 days at the head of the MHB, Patrice Canayer remains focused. The emotion will perhaps be for the last, next week against Toulouse.

"I’try to savor everything there is to savor. The last training sessions, the last matches, he confides. For now, maybe next week it will be a little more difficult. But for the moment, it's not difficult because I've been prepared for this for a long time. And I don’t stop doing nothing. I am both in the process of finishing the season, and then little by little looking forward to my life after that."

With the same as against Nantes

With the exception of Diego Simonet and the long-term absentees (Hesham and Villeminot), Patrice Canayer will be able to count on his entire squad against Aix. "Bryan Monte hasn’not trained since the beginning of the week because he suffered from a sore ankle. He played through gritted teeth against Nantes. I think, objectively, that he should be able to be there. There are players that I used little against Nantes who will certainly have a slightly greater opening in terms of play", explains the manager.
The group: Bolzinger, Desbonnet; Fernandez, Pellas, A. Lenne, Nacinovic, Konan, Y. Lenne, Karlsson, Porte, Berthier, Panic, Skube, Cornette, Prat, Monte.

Third place guaranteed

In the meantime, he will have one last trip for this season to Aix-en-Provence. A match without sporting issues since the MHB is guaranteed to finish in third place in the championship. An MHB which remains on a frustrating defeat against Nantes. "I think the players put in a lot of effort. But something was still missing, especially in the control of important balls at the end of the match. It’s very frustrating, objectively, admits Canayer. But now it's done. Knowing also that in terms of the workforce, it’s still a little tight today. We saw it against Nantes."

Finishing on a good note away before a last one at the FDI, against Toulouse, Montpellier knows its flight plan.
