Open Sud de France in Montpellier: a German for Cazaux, a qualifier for Gasquet, a Paire-Murray… the final table revealed

The draw for the final draw of the Open Sud de France 2024 in Montpellier was made on January 27 at the Sud de France Arena and reserved a German for the local stage Arthur Cazaux while that Richard Gasquet will face an opponent who has gone through qualifying.

For his first match in the tournament in his city, Arthur Cazaux will face a player he has never faced, the German Maximilian Marterer (96th worldwide).

If he wins this first round of the Open Sud de France in Montpellier, Cazaux will immediately face heavyweights, with the number 3 seed, the Canadian Félix Auger -Aliassime (30th).

Gasquet inherits a qualified man, Bonzi an American

As for the other regional players, Richard Gasqueta (current 131st in the world) has inherited a good draw in the first round since he will face a player from qualifications. In the next round, the Biterrois will also be heavy since he would be opposed to the number one seed, the Dane Holger Rune (8th in the world).

The Nîmes Benjamin Bonzi (106th) will face the American Michael Mmoh (104th) and will play the winner of the match between the French Alexandre Muller and a qualifier.
