Dans la nuit du dimanche 14 au lundi 15 avril 2024, à Sceaux, trois ordinateurs ont été volés lors d’un cambriolage. L’un d’eux contenait des données sensibles sur l’organisation des Jeux Olympiques 2024.

According to Europe 1, a break-in took place towards two hours in the morning, during the night of Sunday 14 to Monday 15 April 2024, in a pavilion in the town of Sceaux, in Hauts-de-Seine. Three laptops were stolen.

The victim, an employee of the Thalès company, was awakened by the sound of a broken window. She therefore called the police. It declared that one of its computers contained sensitive information, on territorial surveillance, as part of the organization of the Olympic Games. The perpetrators of the theft, on the run, are actively sought.

This is not the first flight

This is not the first case of theft of a laptop containing information on the organization of the 2024 Olympic Games, in particular access plans. Indeed, at the beginning of March, a device was stolen in Drancy, but the data was not considered sensitive.

Last February, a computer and USB keys containing the same type of information, belonging to an employee of the Paris town hall, were stolen from a train.
