The Italian company Panini announced the release, on Tuesday, of an album for the French Olympic and Paralympic team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
A first for a birthday. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Italian brand Panini announced, Tuesday April 2, the release of an album dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In this album, there are 469 stickers to collect, including 441 portraits of athletes. Among them, we can find Léon Marchand, Teddy Riner, Rudy Gobert, Nikola Karabatic and Félix Lebrun. The other stickers feature mascots or former French Olympic champions.
An album without Wembanyama, Dupont and Mbappé
However, not all of France's big stars are present for various reasons. The composition of the French Olympic football team being uncertain at the moment, Panini preferred not to create a sticker for PSG striker Kylian Mbappé.

As for basketball player Victor Wembanyama, it’s a lack of timing. The San Antonio Spurs pivot had started his season with his club during the photo shoot. Finally, Antoine Dupont was not part of the French rugby sevens team at the time of the selection of the athletes.
This is the first time that the Italian brand has dedicated itself solely to the French Olympic and Paralympic team. The album costs 3.50 euros while the price of refills with 6 stickers is 1 euro.
