Personal training account: from May 1, employees will have to pay a flat rate contribution of 100 euros

This is an additional charge for people who wish to engage in training while benefiting from the CPF.

As of May 1st, people wishing to train through the Personal Training Account (CPF) will have to pay a remainder, the amount of which flat rate is 100 euros. This is what the government decided, in its search for 20 billion savings to be made in its spending, as revealed Le Parisien.

A decree should come very soon to formalize the measure. According to various sources, this remaining charge (a bit like what is now applied during a visit to the attending physician, which goes from 1 euro to 2 euros) should be revalued each year, in function of the monthly consumer price index excluding tobacco for households.

The motorcycle license finally excluded

The measure should enable the government to save the sum of 200 million euros this year. Useful clarification: job seekers and employees, whose training is the subject of a contribution from the employer, are excluded from the obligation to pay the fixed contribution.

At the same time, another text should confirm the exclusion of the two-wheel license from financing by the CPF. Motorists holding a B license, the one allowing the driving of a ;nbsp;car, will no longer be able to finance their motorcycle license with the CPF. Since January 1, 2024, a law, proposed by the deputy for Vienne Sacha Houlié, had opened up the financing by the CPF to all types of licenses, including motorcycle and cart licenses. A measure which had caused great enthusiasm for motorcycle licenses.
