The Sète International Pétanque (6th edition), which is now one of the big dates of the season, was sold out last weekend, with no less than 512 teams and a host of stars of the discipline. More than thirty 100% Gardoise triplets were at the party. The opportunity to discover new formations after the winter transfer window.

The beautiful journey of Laurenti, D’Amore and Gaubert

Only one trio was still in the running on Sunday after the bowling marathon (six or seven games) the day before. Alexandre Laurenti, Frédéric Gaubert and Yoni D’Amore, remaining faithful to their club Boule Amiale de Caveirac, continued to impress the gallery by exiting in the round of 16 Chazel, Blanc and Dubois (La Voulte-Carpentras), on the score is 13-11.

For access to the last square, the Caveiracois competed against Roux, Grégori and Kasbarian (Cabriès). The mano a mano kept its promises, the two triplets taking turns taking the advantage. But at 10-10, a slightly long addition from the Bucco-Rhodanian pointer changed the situation and, unfortunately for the D’Amore gang, opened the way to victory for their rivals (13-10).

Evolution of the score: 0-2, 3-2, 3-5, 6-5, 6-7, 6-9, 10-9, 10-10, 13-10.&nbsp ;The Gardois left this International with their heads held high, won by the Varois Henri Lacroix, Ligan Doeer and Laurent Matraglia.
