Pétanque: three champion clubs, zero surprises among young Gardois

The juniors from Codolet were expected. They did not disappoint. FREE NOON

The results of the 2024 Gard club championships among young people.

The final phase of the youth club championship in Vers-Pont-du-Gard, with four teams competing in each category, saw, unsurprisingly, the best teams win the title. They will then, on September 14 and 15, try to qualify for the Grand Final Four on October 5 in Nîmes.

Chez les minimes

Four like the three musketeers, the kids from Boule uzétienne won the final 16-8 against Cochonnet Canaulois. Composition of the team: Timéo Imbert, Sohan Boudjeloui, Gabin Smith, Léo Martinez. In this category, the finalists also win a ticket for the qualifying round in the Final four.

Among the cadets

As obvious, the Cochonnet Canaulois players topped their category and beat Vers-Pont-du-Gard in the final… 24-0! Sami Comes-Rahali, Jéremy Part, Adel Meziri-Volkmann, Léo-Paul Lévêque and Joseph Santiago were far above!

Among the juniors

We were waiting for the juniors from ASM Codolet who have been working together since their junior years. They did not disappoint and were solid winners of Uzès in the final 20-4. Composition: Justin Divol, Dylan Rayne-Langlade, Henri Impériali, Steven Vanhoutte, Gabriel Chapard.
