For the 18th episode of our podcast "Seeds of champions”, meeting with Montpellier Handball goalkeeper, Charles Bolzinger. This 23-year-old native of Frontignan talks about his Olympic memories and how he discovered handball.

There will be, there will not be… The guard of the MHB, Charles Bolzinger, 23, gets up every morning and hopes to get his ticket to the group that will play in the Olympic Games this summer (July 26 & August 11). European champion with the Blues in January, the goalkeeper is no longer a rookie at international level.

Two goalkeepers at the Games

But competition is fierce for the position. With Rémi Desbonnet and Samir Bellhacène, two players from Montpellier, as well as the experienced Vincent Gérard, a selection is not guaranteed. The other problem is that coach Guillaume Gille is only allowed to retain two goalkeepers for the Olympics. Each performance can therefore count until the end of the season.
